IN-STORE CIGAR LOUNGE LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

This Liability Waiver (“Agreement”) must be agreed to before entering or using the lounge premises.

1. Acknowledgment of Age

I affirm that:

  • I am at least 21 years of age

  • I will present valid government-issued ID upon request

2. Assumption of Risk – Tobacco & Smoke Exposure

I understand and acknowledge that:

  • Smoking cigars involves combustion and inhalation of tobacco smoke

  • Tobacco smoke contains chemicals known to cause cancer and other health risks

  • Exposure to secondhand smoke may pose health risks

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with:

  • Smoking tobacco products

  • Being exposed to secondhand smoke

  • Use of lighters, matches, cutters, and related accessories

3. Health Representation

I affirm that:

  • I do not have a medical condition that would be worsened by smoke exposure

  • I am not relying on any representation by Quartermasters Cigars regarding health effects

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Maryland law, I hereby release and discharge Quartermasters Cigars, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability for:

  • Personal injury

  • Illness

  • Allergic reaction

  • Property damage

  • Losses arising from lounge use

This includes claims arising from ordinary negligence.

5. Property Damage Responsibility

I agree to be financially responsible for any damage I cause to:

6. Conduct Rules

  • Dispose of ash properly

  • Use cutting and lighting tools safely

  • Respect staff and other patrons

7. Alcohol (If Applicable)

I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own consumption and conduct and understand that intoxicated or disorderly behavior will result in removal.

8. Binding Agreement
